As the weather turns colder, we all start to dream of a vacation of fun in the sun! When you plan your much deserved vacation, be sure to leave a message on your voicemail as well as your email out-of-office message with the specific dates you will be gone, the name of the LCC covering your region, and their contact information. In addition, be sure to provide your Program Director’s name and the office 800#. This information will ensure that your families and au pairs have reasonable expectations and specific contacts to reach in your absence. We want to make sure that our families and au pairs always feel supported and being clear on where to turn for assistance during your absence is an important part of the support they expect to receive. It’s important that you take time for yourself and enjoy your vacation. A smoother return is in store if you take the proper steps ahead of time!
