Hi, I’m Susan Robinson, author of Au Pair Answer Mom. I have two children and have been a host mom to nine au pairs since my son was an infant. I often find myself talking to parents about the au pair program and my experience with it as a host mom and staff member. I have worked for Cultural Care since 1995 and, having held several positions throughout the organization, am currently responsible for public relations and social media efforts as well as our charitable program that helps children in need around the world, Kids First.
The au pair program was the perfect choice for our family. My kids have loved each of their au pairs and I love the cultural exchange it has brought to our home as well as the flexibility for our busy schedules. I am proud of the service Cultural Care provides to working parents and the way our program enriches the lives of children, including my own, across the United States and young people from around the world. I hope I can provide some valuable answers to common questions about the au pair program.
